Yeah, Egwene as Amyrlin was definitely interesting!! I love her raising Elayne and Nyneave Aes Sedai right away :-) And it's also a really cool chance to see all the Amyrlin ceremonies and see how things look from that point of view. I also love Egwene going all Aiel and demanding the chance...

Yeah, I'm reading this one now (didn't read too much of this thread for fear of excessive spoilers, but I don't generally mind spoilers anyway :p). It's a lot better than Book 5 in terms of things actually happening throughout the book. Book 5 was cool for the final hundred or so pages, but...

I'm on book 6 right now as well, and I used to waaay prefer Gawyn to Galad, but at this point...Gawyn is majorly disappointing me, and Galad is kind of redeeming himself (though still not a fan). Curious to see where both of them go.
