She was kind of a bitch to Kaladin (probably out of fear for her situation or whatnot, but still)... I don't think he'll forgive that so easily. :\ Knowing how he is, that is.

Well, bear in mind that the ten books are split into two five-book arcs, and they won't share main characters (minor characters might became major characters from on to the other, and vice versa)

Regarding the books:
I'm not sure if it's said that the characters will disappear completely? IIRC, book 3 will focus on Szeth and the Skybreakers, book 4 on Eshonai, book 5 on Dalinar and the Bondsmiths. The final five will focus on Jasnah, Lift, Renarin, Taln and Taravangian, in no particular order. That's the latest Words of Brandon, at least. He used to say that Navani, Adolin and another Herald would have a book of their own as well, but it seems he's changed his mind. So I guess he might again, as well.
The "focus" mainly refers to who will get all the flashbacks, like WoK was Kaladin's and WoR was Shallan's.

I just hope he doesn't fall prey to every other fantasy book ever made where the age old forgotten stories of the past and how awesome it was and how it was so technologically advanced it was but we get to read about chamber pots and horses for a zillion books.
That and I felt the characters are a little flat.
