Its lagging badly when I edit a post and try to save, the rest of the site goes through fine so its not my comp or connection, just when I try and save it refuses to connect to the next page :embarassed:

Alora, as Arie mentioned, over these few days when we're trying to get the HTTPS issues worked out, you may need to clear your browser cache and then restart your browser, ensuring you're going to http://www.tarvalon.net (instead of https://)

Um, everything was okay yesterday, but when I type in http:// it automatically takes me to https:// and says the site is unsecure. It wasn't doing this yesterday!

Aaah, wait . . . I think I fixed it. Though it seems to still be saying only secure content displayed, like on the weekend :scratch The editor's working though and it wasn't then!

If you're getting the warning about secure content, it's still using https. You'll need to clear the browser cache (and history, perhaps) and try again. It likes to remember these things :S

We switched the SSL cert to another subdomain, so it's going to complain that www.tarvalon.net is not valid on that certificate. You'll have to clear cache and try http:// as well.

Again, sorry for these issues, folks! We're working with VB support staff to resolve.

The last few times I've tried to go to this site, it's told me that it's a security risk and is not to be trusted. :look:

I don't know what that's about, but I'm reporting it as a bug.

Sarramy and Alora, can you check the address bar? If it begins with https://, you'll need to clear your browser cache (maybe history), and restart your browser. Then, ensure you navigate to http://www.tarvalon.net

Mine is http:// and I've already cleared the cache more than once, just in case.

No problem. What browser are you using (including version if IE)? Google "clear cache <browser name>" or let me know and I'll post instructions.

Alora, did clearing the cache resolve that for you, or something else?

Sarramy, can you try in another browser and let me know if the same behaviour occurs.

Yes, that's the problem I was having. I would have to try and save my edits several times before it would finally go through. I didn't edit anything yesterday though (that I can remember) so I'm not sure if it still is doing it. I'll edit this post after submitting and see what it does.

Here's my edit... okay, let's see what happens.

It went through fine that time.

Minor, but annoying glitch. The "green" emote isn't working.

It doesn't show in the list of smilies nor in the Aspirations thread in my office. This one works though...:azi
