Oooh did you see the photo and video he just put on Facebook? Of what a highstorm looks like!

Oh wow :brown-blink:

I'm not sure I had an image in my head of what a highstorm looked like. But that is as terrifying as it is majestic.

Gorgeous isn't it? Brandon's done a few readings from Stormlight 2 that have been transcribed at 17th Shard.

LINK HERE

Also, Brandon has said that he's sent the first draft of book 2 off to the publishers! Exciting!

I am racking my brain to find some sort of symmetry in the Shattered Plains that may somehow be related to Kabsal's theory. I can't talk myself in to this being a fool's errand.

I love the Way of Kings! Syl us funny and inspiring at the same time. Brandon did a great job in the development of all the characters in this book. the inner conflicts really let the reader into the characters minds and thought process.
I like all of the characters but my favorites have to be Kaladin and Dalinar, both are probably the greatest men I have ever read about, both have a real conscious and sense of righteousness, I'm excited for the next book. I'm already getting impatient for it.
I'm not sure if I will join in on the re-read, probably not this time anyway. I'm really focused on getting through the Wheel of time right now. it is a great book though!

the release for book 2 has actually been pushed back to March (2014), he wanted to have it out by January but editing a book that big is going to take longer.

That is spectacular Mari! I love the light/dark effect!

Bummer about the push backed date, but hopefully that means a better end product!

Sanderson's newest book. :pleased-1: It's not in the same "cosmere" as his main adult epics, it's a YA post-apocalyptic superhero novel set in our world, start of a new trilogy called The Reckoners. It was so good. :D
