Yah I can understand that it wasn't as thrilling for them to move online, I know I certainly like to play in person a lot more, but in the end I'd rather have a game that isn't ideal than no game at all.
Yea I agree. I'd definitely rather have an online game than no game at all. But my hope is to get back to in person games in the next year.

Same here.
One of my players is in his last year of high school, so we did some in person games while he was on summer break, but when he went back to school this fall we switched back to being online.

You're quite close to applying for Citizenship! Do you think this is a step you'll be taking? :pleased-1:

We'd love to have you over in City Hall! There's a Citizen-only hangout spot over there too, if you decide to apply! :)

I'm late to the party, but welcome :)
Also, Torment is underrated. Love that game.

Welcome to the forums at TarValon.Net! :D

I'm also into RPGs. I was pretty active in our local Pathfinder Society group (my fiancé is the Venture Captain and PFS is where we first met) pre-pandemic, but I really struggled with the switch to virtual. It is so hard to stay focused, and I feel uncomfortable without non-verbal communication. We're talking about starting back up again in the next month or so, though, so it should be interesting to get back into things.

I have limited non-D&D/Pathfinder TTRPG experience. Years ago I was in a few sessions of Mutants & Masterminds, and just a couple years ago we did a few sessions of Deadlands. I have also observed the last 30 minutes of a session of Kobolds Ate My Baby.

For computer games I particularly like MMORPGs. In order of appearance: RuneScape, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, Final Fantasy XIV, and now maybe New World. Outside of that, Minecraft, Skyrim, and Sims 4 are on my rotation, with modded Minecraft being the current game du jour.

Yes, @Dro Beloseren, come join us in the Blue Cat Inn! We have potato buffets on Fridays. :D

I'm definitely considering it. I'm not sure I should really count all my 'thank you' messages should count towards the post count requirement though! :p

Thank you! And yes Torment is criminally underrated, one of the greatest RPG stories of all time!

Thank you! Sounds like you were having a lot of fun with PFS, going online can be hard, a D&D ttrpg group I was in wasn't able to make the transition to discord and disbanded. Hopefully it'll be safe for you to meet in person again soon.

I've never played Mutants and Masterminds but I'd be untested in giving it a try some time.
Which version of Deadlands did you play? I'm partial to the original Weird West version. Amazing you've heard of KAMB! It's such a fun silly game.

I've never been able to get into MMOs, too much grind for me, but I'm glad you like them. I've had a lot of fun with Skyrim and the Sims, and older titles in their respective series.
