Hello all!
I am having an amazing journey that I believe most of you have had as well and found your site when researching a WoT question. I am currently in book 5 and have found a series of books akin to nothing I have EVER read! Robert Jordan is sheer brilliance. So fortunate to be in nearly the middle of these books. I started late spring / early summer and find myself even dreaming of the journey of Rand and company. Dream walking, in a way!
I am 38 and hail from RI in New England. I work as a clinician in a community mental health setting and help those with addiction and mental illness.
I don't know how to get a pic up like you folks have but I have much to look through here.

Hope you all find this in good health and happiness 'under the Light.'

Welcome to Tar Valon! I found this site when searching for Aes Sedai shawls back then and still here I am, because I still can't find the shawls. Joke aside, I now consider myself as a part of this beautiful community, I hope you will too.

Welcome Towmasin! There's nothing like the excitement of reading the books for the first time. I'm re-reading after seven years so it's almost like reading them for the first time, I've forgotten so much.

If you need help with things, we have an entire community who would be happy to help you find what you're looking for so never hesitate to ask. We're all pretty cool, nerdy people around these parts.

Thanks much. Just finished the scene at Dumai’s Wells / LOC. Speechless! I have read and been told the next few books aren't as fast a read and drag a bit...is there a consensus on that or true? I guess everyone would have difference in opinions but just wondering..?

Welcome!

What question did you research? :geek
It was a character one of thousands it seems...not positive who it was now. I tried lightly bc I've run into spoilers that way but if I have more Q's (which I def will!) I prefer to use thred here bc I was on Fandom I think it was and read a bit TOO MUCH! Luckily I have the ability to thought block (or forget easily?) so it wasn't a major spoil.

Hmmm favorite main character is probably Matt. I always like the antagonists or here, dark friends. Mordeth is something else and haven't read much re Graendal but she's 'interesting' with her servants and mind set.

Falme, Stone of Tear were all very good but I am a big fan of the smaller sub plots as well....there is so much hard to pick a favorite anything yet!

You hail from Eire? My grams is from Belfast and her dad from Sligo....I've visited Ireland about 5 times...last time was actually 4 years ago this week. I love Ireland! Such beauty and amazing people as well. Cheers!

There is a lot of character development coming your way, but it's worth it.
