Yeah, at this point, we I think we would have been better off with Amazon.de than with Book Depository. :desk

hope noone minds that I am reviving this :look:

I bought White Sand vol.1 when Sandersson was visiting Sofia in 2017 and I finally read it a few days ago :laugh: (in Bulgarian)
Like someone mentioned, I am not a big fan of the art, but it does help to see what is going on (sometimes) , sometimes I cannot really tell what the artist is trying to say, but.... at least the story is interesting enough to not mind it :laugh:
I do not like the main character... I do want to see how he grows in the next novels though. Does anyone know if vol. 3 is the final one?

I feel you, I...do not really like the art for the book, but honestly I barely paid attention to it, more so the story. I hear there was an artist change in one of the volumes, unknown for the better.

Vol. 3 is the final one, @Ilverin Matriam Sedai.

I haven't read White Sand yet, as I usually listen to books. I got the original (unpublished) novel though, been meaning to read that. Anyone read both? Which do you prefer? I know the story changed a lot in the adaptation.

I keep meaning to get the unpublished novel and read it, I just haven't gotten around to it

how do you go about acquiring the unpublished novel?

@Thaddius al'Guy, when you sign up for his newsletter you get a link to a pdf file of the novel as a bonus. If you're already subscribing try looking at older newsletters. He only asks that you don't share the link with anyone, they have to actually subscribe themselves for this one. And as far as I know only the graphic novels are canon.
