That's really cool! I hope you hear back soon. :pleased-1: I drew my own, so I kinda side-stepped that requirement.

Oh wow that is really sweet! I wish I had the skills...or the dedication to practice until I did. You did a really great job on her ear! Weird thing to compliment probably, but I really love her ear! Also, I am trying to be all open minded and look at everyone, but despite my love for Moiraine, I have been lurking all over the library pages on the White Ajah group here. :bubble

Her Manetheren speech had me hanging on every word. I was hooked! Also, I have never heard anyone say they enjoyed figuring out declensions before. That is my kind of crazy! I had more of a, this is so cool until ten minutes later I threw my book across the room, relationship with declensions, but they definitely keep you on your toes and I do love the way it takes away the guesswork when you are reading it!

That's such an epic speech!

And that's a pretty fair reaction to declensions  I've definitely thrown up my hands in frustration before. I mostly like languages with declining words because of the effect on syntax; it feels like a puzzle figuring out what words go where. I studied classical Sanskrit before I ever did Latin, so I was already somewhat familiar with the practice.

I actually went to Pickerington, but I work in Dublin now! I think Pickerington dropped the program a few years after I graduated in '04. I live in Westerville so we could totally have passed each other in Trader Joe's at Easton or something :giggle Have a nice trip, I hope you are going on vacation!!

Yeah, I can relate to the love of puzzles. Even when they make me throw my book, that only makes solving them more exciting. I felt that way a lot when I was starting to learn HTML. It was so much work to figure out how to do the smallest stuff, but it always felt like such an accomplishment!

I always liked proofs because of this, like when you're working with nothing but equations made of symbols and it's all about tricksy manipulation. It's a gigantic pain in the butt, but I love the sense of winning when I get it right. :)

(Also, I know about fangirling the ajah pages in the library. LOL. :fistbump)

I love all kinds of art, but have very little talent myself.

Same here, hahah! Welcome to our lovely community, we are blessed with a new Moiraine fan and a brownie lover too, probably. :sword

I almost guessed Pickerington! I went to Watkins. ☺️ We should grab lunch sometime. And I am on vacation, hanging with some lovely people from around here for the weekend.
