Hi,

I've been a fan of Wot for about 15 years. Done about three rereads so far and it is my all time favourite fantasy series. I love reading either through books or audio books which I got into last year. I'm a big music fan and attend regular gigs. Also love the theatre and the arts in general. I'm quite an academic individual and love learning new things. Looking forward to exploring the place and getting involved. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome to Tar Valon, Bina! :joy I'm currently working through the audiobooks myself. :pleased-1: It's the first time I've read them on this format, and it's taken a while to get used to the narrators.

Who are some of your favorite characters? :)

Really struggle to narrow it down and it changes at various points. In no particular order Perrin, Mat, Nynaeve, Egwene, Aviendha, Min, Verin and controversially I know, Faile.

I struggled at first too with the narrators at first but I eventually grew to really like them. For me it was the accents that took the most adjustment.

Welcome! :D I also enjoy the audiobooks, I have time for listening, but not for reading sadly...

Thank you Ilverin Sedai. For me it's a case of being able to listen more than I can read for example when commuting. Also, when I have problems concentrating due to health and struggle to read I can still listen and so still enjoy a book and escape in it.

Gasp! I love Faile too! She's not my favorite, but I really like her. :D Aviendha, Siuan, and Perrin are my favorites, though. :pleased-1:

Through a Wheel of Time Facebook post from one of the groups. Not sure which I'm afraid.

Awesome! :D (I'm the one that handles all of our Facebook stuff, so that's good to hear!)

Same here. There is such a huge cast of interesting characters it is impossible to narrow it down to one.

Thank you, I'm seeing myself spending a lot of time here already!

We're glad! :joy Also, we have a new citizen's class in the works, so don't forget to check the Classroom.
