So, I noticed a few bits of dialogue that were big foreshadowing moments, that I didn't realize the first time I read them.

I'm currently in Lord of Chaos, and there were two moments that stood out.

In the first one, I don't remember who said it, but ...

It was in reference to the Tower split, and Aes Sedai trying to get on Rand's good side, or trying to get the upperhand with him. But, someone said something along the lines of "Rand is really being put in a box with all this!"

Uh...poor Rand. :look:

And, then Rand speaking to Min...

"I would cut off my arm before I hurt you, Min!"

Well, I mean, the boy ain't lyin', you've gotta give him that. :look:

I might have missed a few, but if you noticed any others, let me know! This is pretty entertaining.

Yeah, there are so many foreshadowing moments in these books :) That is what makes them so fun to read over and over...

Agreed. :) There are always so many things that weren't obvious the previous times that it's still entertaining. :giggle

I remember noticing lots when listening to the audiobooks... of course now I can't think of any specific times/books  I'm sure at some point Mat talks about giving his eye for something :look:

I'm on The Shadow Rising again, and I've seen so many moments over the last few books, I almost feel like I should have caught them before. Of course, I'm blanking on any examples...

I know how you feel, Alenya. I feel like there were so many, but I can only recall a few.

I did just notice Lord Luc has a wolf head belt buckle.

Luc in the Dream World looks Malkieri. Is he the cousin?

Just finished reading The Fires of Heaven and there were two that really stick out.

When Rand reads Moiraine's letter she tells him to "Be as suspicious of Verin as you are of Alviarin"

And also

Even though I can't find the exact quote, at one point someone says something like "there isn't a white tower for men." And that gets rectified fairly shortly.

I forgot about Moiraine's letter! :look: That one was loaded with stuff.

I kind of love how awkward Rand is with the Black Tower at first. :shifty It sounds like something I would do. "Yeah, they're gonna love this! It's so thought-provoking and inspiring! ...Oh. It's just well-thought out and organized to me." :look:

So, we know the truth about Lord Luc, and we mentioned earlier that the Trollocs were telling Isam at the last battle. However, in Lord of Chaos, they tell Rand that Lord Luc, son of the Queen, disappeared before Tigraine. So, was it Luc, Isam, or some sort of hybrid? Like something terrible that happened in the Bought that let Isam take over Luc?

I recall wondering about that myself, actually . . . but I really don't know. Maybe I'll look for clues in my next reread. If I remember to look anyway

Well, he looked like Lan in the World of Dreams, but not in real life. That's what made me wonder if they were two people in one.

I believe they somehow are two people in one. One of the few times we are in his head, he mentions that he "becomes Luc" when he goes between The world of dreams and the real world.

We do see him again later in the series, don't we?
