Many site moves ago we used to have a page of emotes that were all Tower-specific. Unfortunately, they seem to have been lost in the move to the current forum. I'm feeling nostalgic and was wondering if we still had the codes and related emotes in a popup emote option--things like the ajah/company emotes, :trout, :horsey, stuff like that. Most.of us older members remember them but it'd be fun to have the popup page with the codes available again.

Am I missing something? Because if I click on the little smiley face above the text input window and then select "more", I have a pop-up window full of emotes, including the ones you've posted? And the various Company/Ajah ones, like :yellow and :gaidin? If there were others at one time, then cool, I'd love to see them too :)

Huh. Apparently they aren't there in the mobile version I have access to. I don't see the smiley icon you describe. :scratch. I have a Post Icons option but they are generic, not Tower-specific. :scratch

Are you using the full version, or the phone version? It is possible that the phone version of the site on mobile don't have the extra emotes... It doesn't have the skin and stuff that are TV.net specific anyway...

I have no smilie button at all via mobile and as I haven't got a new labtop... I had to ask for some smilie Codes which I can't rember...
For such people like us a listed sticky of the Codes were absolutly great...

Strange... And you don't have a smiley next to the text colour button? Do you have the tools button at all? Have you tried to go advanced when replying?

The full site view is the only view I ever use unless there are glittery strobe lights on the page.

Aduiavas, I don't have a text color button or tools area, either. The advanced reply does nothing except provide a slightly better window for typing and basic non-Tower emotes. It's always been this way since the last major move, so I thought it was how everyone's accounts behaved. Evidently not!

That is very strange... What viewer do you use? I use Chrome on the few occasions I use mobile version..

Is your forum skin set to "New TarValon.Net Style"? The option is in Settings (top of every page) -> General Settings (on the left under My Account) -> Miscellaneous Options (all the way at the bottom of the page).

Might look if Message Editor Interface is set to Enhanced, too.

This happened to me. When I came back, I was trying to do everything from memory and was getting for FRUSTRATED over forgetting the codes to emotes, and basic text stuff.

Troubleshooting Options!

Click "Settings" in the upper right bar of this page.
Click "General Settings" on the bar to the left.
Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page until you see the heading for "Miscellaneous Options"
Make sure the selection for "Enhanced Interface" is checked.
