Ok, so this is a very random post, but I'm curious and hey! It's fun. For the character Selene: her scent is described several times. Question: what scent did you associate with her as you read this book?

I leaned towards a carnation: semi-sweet yet spicy, as "spicy" was brought up a lot.

I had to think about it for a while cause I really wasn't sure. I'm allergic to many fragrances so I've avoided them for quite a few years, but after some research, I decided potpourri was probably the closest to what I envisioned.

I'd say something like vanilla tobacco and cloves. Something that makes you think of secrets but is alluring, and those are scents that are like nighttime scents. Either that or maybe jasmine and cloves /cinnamon :)

Maybe the sort of smell you get in an incense shop-but not too overpowering :P
