Coffee, what would we ever do without you :)

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of the beans that thoughts acquire speed. The hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning. It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion ...
- Some Dune fan I don't know, but who was obviously awesome

*now ponders picking up some apples at the store tomorrow for apple crumble*

Cider! What a great idea, let's have some cider and throw more logs on the fire.

Have you tried it with the Maharaja chai? That's one of the most popular blends and I'm told it is really delicious.

Inanna, I'm speaking the language of a Teavana barista! XD sorry if I'm confusing anyone, they just have some strange tea names.

Roh Sedai thank you. Looks like I've found teavana buddy. Sadly I have to plan my trips to teavana stores when I travel since there is not one close by or order online. But you can't sample or smell the tea online.

Also Cider sounds amazing with the cooler weather.

My closest Teavana is two hours away. I'd love to go sometime. I get my tea at Wegmans, and they usually have more pronounceable names, like gunpowder green, Apple pie chai, hibiscus, Yerba mate, Sakura senche, rooibos... Okay, so maybe not. :p

Any time Kveldolf! I'm ten minutes from the nearest Teavana and there are probably another four or five within a reasonable distance... I do still drink bagged tea, but not nearly as often since we discovered Teavana...

This makes me want to go to the coffee house by work and either get a coffee or a tea.

A guy I worked with ordered his tea by the boxload, he was a big fan of Numi, they are out of San Francisco but they ship orders. I tried some of the flavors he had, they were pretty good, and I am not much of a tea drinker, coffee for me.

Then you'd probably like one or two of the teas at Teavana. There's one called Javavana Mate and it smells just like coffee

I wonder what happened first - did somebody toss coffee beans into hot water and then notice that the effects could be improved by grinding them, or did somebody crush coffee beans and then subsequently decide that putting the product into hot water would improve it?

And if it's the latter, what did they do with the grounds? Eat them? Snort them? Feed them to their children and watch what happens?
