What kinds of classes are there?

I was reading through the Membership Manual to get a feel for the site, since I know it is not for roleplaying. I am curious to know more about what kinds of classes there are?? Classes for what and how does one participate? (I believe you have to be a Novice? What I mean by participate is are they in real life or over the internet, etc.)

Generally when people talk about classes, they're talking about classes led by members of the community in our Classrooms forum. They started as a study aid for the WoT book-based raising tests, but have since expanded to include real life skills and interests.

Additionally, sometimes workshop type activities occur at our official events, if people feel like hosting them.

I know Citizens can SEE the classroom, I am just no longer certain if they are allowed to participate- things have changed a lot since I was super active around here.

In Aus, semesters start in January & June...I'm guessing September & March for on tarvalon.net?

Waiting for Citizen application approval so I cant see classes yet but...any hints on 2016 classes? :desk

School or uni... End of January school starts, 2nd semester for both is July...start and middle of year anyway
