That's a known thing that there's not really a workaround for. It was discussed many pages ago. After you check what you can see, perhaps mark your forums read using the link at the bottom of the forum?

The trouble is that I can't do that for just one section of the forums, and I don't actually want to mark everything read. Just the fora in TarValon.net Administration. If there's nothing that I can do about it, that's fine (though if in future it can be changed, that'd be nice). Glad it's a known thing, though.

When I use quick reply or go advanced I cant use my enter key to make a new line of text, I just hit it about 4 times and nothing. I have been having this problem for about 2 weeks. Thanks!

That is...really confusing, Katherine. I cannot replicate your error. Could you tell us what platform you're using, browser, etc?

its the new windows 8, I got a new laptop and it has only been on this that I have had the problem. (ps I HATE this laptop with my whole self)

Is it running Windows 8 RT or desktop version? If you're running IE, make sure you're running the desktop version of IE, not the Windows Experience version.

I think I am using the desktop version. and it is only a problem on this site, on other sites I can use the enter key

This problem has just started recurring for me. I haven't noticed it for the past month or so, but this morning I'm seeing it again.

This problem isn't ours, but Skype's. The images are all external images, especially Skype's. For example, mine goes to:

"http://mystatus.skype.com/smallicon/aazizorg". This is how Skype spits back an image saying whether I'm online or not. Try refreshing your cache or browsing to the Skype website. It may be down or blocked by your computer.

okay waaaay back a couple of pages I said that I couldn't use the enter key to make a new line in text in the Quick Reply or Advanced reply boxes, but I can now!! I think it might be a Windows 8 thing, so I am posting how to do it here for future reference. I went from the Advanced Editor to Standard Editor in the General Settings.
Now I have to go back and fix all my posts.

I'm having a bit of an issue with images not properly displaying on the mobile website. When I try to look at the main page, this is what I see:

I'm on a Nexus 7 running Android 4.2.2 and using Chrome. I have already tried restarting the tablet and updating Chrome.

I don't have another browser on my tablet, but clearing the cashed seems to have worked.
