Open and Closed thread options in Tech Talk.....

I recently posted a thread in Tech Talk on the new boards and noticed that ONLY for the Tech Talk forum, there is a prefix title option. The thread can be labelled either Open, Closed, or have no prefix. It's limited to just the Tech Talk forum, I checked.

This is because tech problems are frequently posted to that forum. A person with an issue can mark their thread "open" and then others know to check in and see if they can help. Then they can mark it "closed" when it is solved.

Its a feature we didn't enable on the public forums but can be used by the tech team and mod teams in our department forums. Tech threads were later enabled for the reason Ninya described.
