It looks really great! Will certainly get some taking used to though. Great work!

Can anyone explain the forum icons? Some are colored, some not, some have arrows, some have X's?

The icons aren't all up yet, it'll be much clearer when they're finished. Colored icons indicate new posts, non-colored ones show no new posts. The x indicates a stickied thread... that one is wonky at the moment because we're missing the matching topic and announcement icons.

Ohhhh. Hm. Is it possible to change it from X or something? The X makes me think it's a closed/deleted thread. >_> Maybe a big circle in the middle? :look: Or you can just ignore me! :D

We're already talking about that, Jeffan.

Meilen's gonna finish up the ones she's got, and get them up. Once they're all together, we'll see how well it all fits. She might tweak things a bit if it still looks like a closed thread icon. Work in progress, & all. ;)

Shiney, guys! :D

Are you able to port the old threads and PM's over, or is that stuff gone for good now?

We'll have the old forums as an archive for a while, but nothing is being automatically moved over. Once we have a link for the old forums (one that doesn't redirect here), we'll let people know.

I must say I am fascinated by the "Favorites" thing at the bottom of the page. :clap
I found it an application immediately.

If there's anything you think should be added to that, let us know and we can see about adding it. :look:

I especially like how Unicode works now! Awesome job! :clap
(Even though I admit I'm mostly going to be using it in the "now playing" thread. :))

This is one of those things that are going to take a lot of getting use to after so long with the old boards but also is one of those things where I know it'll be worth the teething problems. I think it'll be a good adjustment :)

Nice work.

is everyone elses avatars on the right handside instead of the old left too?

That's going to take some getting used too.

Or is there an an option to shift it if you want? (not sure if I want to though, have to test out the new way first)

Avatars will end up on the left, it will just take some extra playing around with the board design.

Is there any way to make it an option for us to choose whether or not we have the avatar on the left or the right? Because I *really* like it on the right... it balances things out nicely with the sidebar on the left. o.o

This is not the Requests thread, and no, you cannot choose, it's one or the other, and the Amyrlin has spoken. :P
