Likely because the last two we attempted were rife with problems, but I have faith that ol' Mendo found something that wasn't utter shite and all will go smoothly!

Will there be more IP chat channels available on this one namely Google Hangouts?

Just a thought - Can we request the option to have sub-threads in the forums?

Kind of like how we have sub-forums for the Discussion group.. If we have say a reading thread could we then have a thread for fiction, non-fiction, religious, horror etc?

I don't see it as an option for the new software. We may be able to look at a plugin in the future.

We've been through so many different forum softwares over the years that change is no issue for me that's for sure.

I'm sure the tech team is a little apprehensive after the last couple moves being a pain in the ass, but hopefully this one goes smoother.

Gonna have to have a real good think about how to edit my avatar though, definitely lends itself to being in a longer format. But I'm sure I'll work something out that looks good.

You could just make the black at the edges spread out to fill the rest of the square. Would make the central imagery that much more striking, too. /design .02

Thanks good advice. I will probably do something like that, I don't think zooming in or anything will improve it at all.

Hmmmm, thought I might be able to show more of the cloak...... But I think I still prefer it chopped having looked at it.

I'll have to fiddle with it, but something along those lines anyway

The third one is very striking and visually interesting.

Agreed. It has a good balance of black and color.

This is the hardest problem I'm having, how much to zoom my avatar in or out (or not at all) when creating the new size. :lol

I think the big version of your avatar should crop pretty easily to 200x200. It's a good picture. Get some of the wings in this time I reckon

Hmm... Not sure what to do about mine. There isn't any more to it and I don't like how it crops. I suppose I could photoshop more background on the sides, but that seems lame.
Maybe it's time for a drastic change.

I think avatars will worry people most.

I don't know where the original is of mine, and besides, this one has been edited. I'm struggling with the idea of having to have something new after 12 years. o_O I guess I might have to start looking...

That looks like it would crop well. Is it just the haor color that's changed?
