Tired of having to travel across the continent when there are totally kickin' rad places for us to host the event in your own backyard? Has it been a while, and you're ready for the Tower to throw another party in your neck of the woods? With our event in Idaho right around the corner, we're looking for our next party spot! If you would like to bid on a location for our 18th Anniversary event, please fill out THIS form and also send a quick e-mail titled "18th ANNIVERSARY BID - YOUR LOCATION" to email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. (and yes you need to send it to all 4 so we know to look for your bid!) I've also included a link to a page that lays out all of the questions from the form so that you can see them in advance and know what we're looking for and how to fill out the form itself. BID QUESTIONS Bids need to be submitted by March 1, 2018. Things to keep in mind when submitting a bid: If your bid is selected, YOU will be an integral part of the planning. By making a bid, you are volunteering to be the Local Liaison. What does that mean? Follow this link! LOCAL LIAISON GUIDELINES The Local Liaison is essentially a staff position in the Department of Events and Conferences with a term of about 14 months. You will be our eyes and ears on the spot. You will be expected to do a lot of the leg work to find accommodations, local activities, and transportation options. Anni is generally held in the spring (February - May) in a campground type location. The venue should have cabin-like living arrangements, kitchen space for meal preps (or on-site dining services), and space for events such as sword fighting or archery. Preferred site locations are moderately isolated. We tend to be fairly loud so being 10 feet from a cabin holding a girl scout meet wouldn't be the best location. Normal Anni attendance is 35-60 people. We aim for ticket prices somewhere around $150 - $180 and about 85% is allocated for food and lodgings. If you have multiple venues in mind, go ahead and submit more than one bid! If you’re missing answers to a question that is required, make a note about why you don’t know instead.
