Hello everyone,

I am new here, as the title says.

I started reading the Wheel of Time this year. I quite love it, although I got a bit stuck somewhere in the middle and I've only reached book 10.
Euhm... my favourite character is Gareth Bryne. I just like how stubborn he is, and knows what to do without always saying it. He kinda just goes with the flow.

I found TarValon.net through many different paths - from Google through Instagram through Dragonmount.

I can and do go by Myra a lot. There are a couple other people with Myra in their names so it can get confusing sometimes...

For the pocketing: it is freely offered by people who want to take extra care of you it seems (i am still a noob in the forum lol so i hope i have gotten this right). I was offered to be pocketed when i reached the rank of citizen.

:welcome I'm glad you found us! I <3 Bryne - he's one of my favorite characters. I kind of envy those readers who, like you, can start the series for the first time and read it all the way through without having to wait years for books to come out.

Oh, and you can call me Mai Sedai (Mai rhymes with Gray).

PS. You joined on the first day of one of our two annual "free weeks." That means many of us will have special avatars and signatures, and there will be all sorts of unusual shenaningans going on. Don't be scared off! This free week, called Shaoman, started today (10/22) and lasts until Nov. 2. Then things go back to normal.
