Yes I agree. I tried copy & paste but with the longer threads that go over several pages it was alot of messing around. And enough oops's that I gave it up as a bad joke lol on me

I don't think so, but you would want one soon thereafter.

Actually I think you DO need one before becoming a Citizen. I'd direct you to the appropriate place in the Membership Manual but I'm on my phone so I can't access it easily. :\

Right here in How to Become a Full Member the sticky here in this forum, it states that you need an avatar to become a citizen.

It is quite possible that the Membership Manual hasn't quite been updated properly. It is on the to-do list. I am going to say that you do need an avatar. You can change it however many times you want - before you become a Citizen. So you have to have a specific avatar that you won't be able to change anymore afterwards. I know that the Mayors haven't made Visitors into Citizens without an avatar, as well as that a lot of Visitors sent applications prematurely because they didn't read all the requirements, and were lacking some.

I have chosen a pic as an avatar, gotten permission from the artist. Yay.! Down loaded and saved it...but have no idea if its of appropriate size. I did see someone post they cld help with technical stuff. Now just hunting for the hows and whats lol

I just read half the MM and the bits about avatars & signatures several times...sadly unless its written somewhere obvious, size is measured with a ruler lol. I do know what pixels are, but...

I found it in the Epilogue site listed as a link for places to find avatars. The artist album had Like me on Facebook so I sent her a message on there and she answered straight away. I was totally amazed.
