Hello!!!


My name is SnowGoose, it is the name of a ship few of our favourite characters boarded. Currently I am reading that book (The Dragon Reborn) so the name was stuck in my head.
My favourite character has to be Lioal, because he is doing exactly what I am doing, which is more or less being a passive observer, helping out here and there but mostly keeping to himself and taking notes and reading really thick books.
I found TarValon.net website at the back cover of the paperback edition of the Wheel of time.
There are other websites too, I will look at them as well. But for the time being this place is my home.
By trade I am an Engineer and its really boring stuff, but it pays the bills.
I am from India, so I guess I won't be able to take part in various meet-ups you guys have, but I will be with you in spirit! Besides English, I can speak Hindi.
I really love the Harry Potter series, though I haven't been able to finish the entire series. You see the movies were coming out way to quickly and I couldn't avoid it. Now I just need to wait for sometime so I could forget most of the story, before I pickup that series again.

In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, reading epic fantasy novels, tinkering with electronics/gadgets. Every now and then I have been known to indulge in fine single malts and cigars.

So please go ahead and send me a message, I would really to talk to anyone here. If I don't reply right away It means I am occupied otherwise, but as soon as I get some time I will respond.

I am looking forward to getting to know you guys and have nice back and forth about the WoT.
