Newly raised to the Green Ajah!

Normally I'd have asked to pare down the wall of congrats but these are so lovely that I'm keeping them all in
I'm all in favour of raising Kelvin. He fits in with our group so well! He takes an interest in what we're doing, is helpful, and just is an all-around good guy. I'm looking forward to seeing him as a Senior member and being able to call him brother! Let's get it done!
HELL YES!!! I've been waiting for this since I knew he was going to Aspire. He is an amazing person and has been so Green since he started visiting us. He is a lovely addition to the Ajah and it is often hard to rememberthat he is only an Aspirant. I cannot wait until he is a full Sedai of Green.
So...I sort of informed Kelvin that he was Green and needed to guest with us a few months back. In my defense, I was drunk, it was Anni (and he thought it was hilarious).
Anyway, so we kept talking afterward. We became good friends and I was really pleased to serve as his Big when he started guesting in Green because I knew we meshed well.
After all that, my initial impression still stands: HOLY SHIT my brother is so Green he makes Kermit and the Emerald City look like gray scale facsimiles. Please raise him already so I can stop playing tiptoe 'round the tulips with Ajah stuff, we can raise hell in our own special slappy-sibling way, and he can provide me with many generations of Green Grand-Littles to spoil.
On a more serious note, the Hall would probably like to know that Kelvin is an adult who works hard to take care of himself and his family, but still has a sense of humor and knows how to have fun. He can cut straight to the chase and/or be extremely funny and/or be a hard ass and/or know exactly what to say to make a person feel better...all at the same time. I adore him! Oh yeah and on top of all that he loves this community and is invested in its success and future. I'm no longer Director, but I really enjoyed having him on my staff when I was.
It's been an honor and a pleasure to be his Big. I look forward to calling him Brother as well as brother, and I am SO DAMN HAPPY this is happening!

Besides getting to know Kelvin through the boards, I had thepleasure of meeting him at Anni in 2017, hung out with him at a local gathering in Texas last year and Anni this past year. He has always been a great guy to be around! Getting to know him more since he’s Aspired to Green, he’s just an awesome guy. He has been a great listener and offered advice where needed. Has made the time to get to know our members in our Ajah, but also members of TarValon.Net in general. With his contributions and participation in our community, it is definitely time for him to be raised to a full member of TarValon.Net and the Green Ajah. I can’t wait to call him brother! <3
