The idea is simple: a new book related question regarding your preferences every two weeks :) Feel free to answer the old ones, I will update the first post when a new question is posted. Let's get started!

    1. What is your favourite beverage to have while sitting comfortably with a good book?
    2. What is your favourite place to read?
    3. Do you write in your books and what?
    4. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once?
    5. Can you read on the bus, train, car, etc.?
    6. If you could read books written in another language which one would it be?
    7. The longest you’ve gone without reading?
    8. What was the first book you read by yourself?
    9. What is the most inspirational book you’ve ever read?
    10. Are there any books you’ve been avoiding?
    11. Favorite poet

It's pretty irrelevant to me. Either I'm reading during lunch, so it's whatever drink I might be having with my meal and nothing to do with the book, or I'm reading for the sake of reading and will very quickly forget about any snacks or drinks or anything else around me. :giggle

Oh good question! That totally depends on the book, I tend to drink what they're drinking. While reading Cheri I enjoyed sipping a good brandy, and throughout the WOT series I'm drinking everything from spiced wine to goats milk. It really lends to the flavor of the book that way. :lol

That is a pretty cool idea, would be fun to try sometimes if I had access to all of the things in the books!

Depends on the weather as to what I'm drinking while I'm reading...

Megana Sedai, I've found some nice and easy mulled wine recipes online (one you just heat up in the microwave) so you might be able to try that. The goat's milk I actually stumbled on, I live in an area where lots of folks have livestock and I volunteered to help a friend milk goats and got to take some milk home. It wasn't until the next time it was referenced in the books that I realized. I actually REALLY like it too. :D

I like to read in the morning with coffee. Other than that, it's whatever's at hand.

For me it also depends on the time of the day. Morning - coffee; afternoon - cold drink; evening - wine or a cocktail ;)

    Next question:

What is your favourite place to read?

It's my sofa for me and one day I want to have something similar

Usually curled up in bed, because I get chilly after sitting still for that long. ;)

I tend to read while I'm on break or lunch at work. So place my car or at whatever food place I go to, and drink is again usually a soda of some sort. I actually do like going to McDonalds or someplace and spending a few hours just reading and sipping on a Coke :lol

Now I will say I have been guilty of getting off work, and sitting in my car "finishing the next chapter" and end up finishing the book 3 hours later. This isn't good when it's in the 30 outside and you didn't turn on your car :lol

    1. Whatever I've had for lunch/dinner, so often iced tea or lemonade. Occasionally water or milk, and even sometimes soda.

    2. I generally do most of my reading at a table of some sort - either at home (reading on my laptop or on the table in front of me) or at work on the table in the staff room. I don't mind reading in big cozy chairs, but then I'm often doing some sort of gymnastics.
    :lol

    1. Ice tea!

    2. Either in bed before sleep, or on a table of sorts. I don't do reading in chairs very much, since the books I read tend to be quite Heavy, and thus I can't support them by myself :look

    3. Do you write in your books and what?

I write funny notes or serious thoughts with pencil and only in books that are not very good quality.

I have used a marker in my school books, but the first time I did that was hard :look But it made it so much easier to reread before the exam when I have marked the important sentences on the first readthrough...

But I would never write in a regular book :eek
Well, except my Bible... I have marked very many verses in my Bible ;)
