Announcing the area for Anniversary 2015

In previous years we have aimed for locations and things haven't worked out because, as part of the bidding process, we can't ask our members to ask all the questions that the Department of Events and Conferences need to know. We ask people to come to us with options where possible just in case. We will then follow up, sign contracts, arrange insurance etc but it's a process we do all year for multiple events. Quite honestly, if there was a venue deemed worthy we would hope that people provide us with the bids for us to look through.

We we have a location but there is a lot we need to do to get things nailed. It's much better for us to tell you once and right than several times with what may end up being misinformation.

Don't go moving any ladders at an Anni party. Experience tells me that the combination of a moved ladder and ambulance on site leads to very angry site manager. Not sure the onesies helped calm her mood either.

So, we won't move the ladders. We'll just nail them to Serenla's roof. And build balcony railings around on top of the roof, so there's less risk for the people who choose to overindulge in alcohol. Like a Widow's Walk.
