I miss you Tsu so I hope we can go too! If so we'll probably go early so we can stay with my bro and visit :)
ALORA...I miss you too!!! I am definitely planning this trip. I would like to plan on driving up. I have been meaning to spend more "Me" time in my life, and this would be the perfect opportunity to do that!

With this being spring break weekend instead of st Patrick’s is making things a bit more difficult, but I think I can convince the fam to do our Australia trip a bit later... (just means kiddo will miss more school to do so :look:)

I checked out photos from the location a while ago, and it looks so beautiful there.

I totally get that, rae, but overall prices in general for hotels and food and everything are just going up...we just can't do a 4 day event for $150 anymore like we did 10 years ago :\

That being said, I think we get a lot of bang for our buck so to speak! Remember that it's:

  • 4 days/3 nights lodging
  • 8 meals over almost 4 days (3 dinners, 2 lunches, and 3 breakfast)
  • We don't have to do the cleaning this year! Just strip the beds, grab our stuff and bail on Monday morning
  • 2 of our dinners will be catered including the dishes with quite a few choices for our dining committee to talk through
  • 2 full days of programming

Spending 24/4 :look: with all of your friends? Priceless! :P

I'm being slightly facetious with the last of course, but considering that the cost of living in Washington these days isn't much (if any) cheaper than east coast living and we're doing a full extra day and all of the food for the same as a FB ticket? I really do think we're making everyone's dollars stretch as far as we can. That being said I do understand the sticker shock for sure :hug

If anyone has questions about anything always feel free to holler at me! You can also reach me at naevents@tarvalon.net :D

I am going to attempt to see if I can get the sign off to attend this. Sounds amazing.

So question about linens.

If we are going to bring our own what size is the bed?

If I recall correctly, most of the beds are twin size, and there are also some full size beds.

You should know what size bed you have when you get your room assignments, yes.

Yep just like last year we know what the make up of the rooms are so I’ll make sure that you and your roommates know what the configuration is so you know what linens to bring!

@Seraph Delandra Yes...this does mean you need to come. :D
Renting the linens is a good idea if you're travelling from a longer distance since you won't need to pack/repack them.
