I know I am a long way ways away from it. Considering I am not even a Novice yet. But was someone becomes an Aes Sedai here do they have to wait to pick the Ajah or do the get to right away.

The way we have it working is that once you gain Acceptance (Accepted) you spend time guesting around the different Ajah's to see what fits you best. You can not become Aes Sedai until you Aspire to a specific Ajah. Once you aspire it iw up to the Head of the Ajah to decide when you can be raised.
