I just got "You know nothing" in my head and for a second I forgot it was "You know nothing, Jon Snow" and thought it was "You know nothing, wetlander" from Avi to Rand. Same dumbass, different series. :P

This made me really laugh as I get a lot of crossover as I am reading GOT at the same time as WOT...
(one on audio and one on ebook)

I got me GOT's and and me WOT's in a pickle soooo many times!!!!!!! :scratch :scratch :scratch

This is an easy one! The prize goes to Silviana Brehon, Egewene's keeper. You have to love her loyalty and commitment to the Tower. Her genuine recognition of Egewene's virtues and her struggle between her duty and her feelings. I imagine after book 14 we may not get to call her a minor character anymore, but I think for now she qualifies.

Other honorable mentions: Basil Gill, Tam (is he minor? He is important to Rand, but only appears rarely), Brandelwyn and Marin al'Vere, Selucia and Geofram Bornhald


Okay I have to agree with Baryd.

I have to say hes not just one of my fav minor chars. Ingtar Shinowa is one of my fav chars, period, in the series. And the scene where he confesses to Rand at the end of The Great Hunt... awesome.

This is one of my fave scenes in the series, I'm not sure I'd say he's one of my fave characters over all, I don't think we get enough of his personality. His confession is an amazing scene, but I think that was mostly because it was a total shock (at least to me).

Talmanes and Hopper. Talmanes because of the interactions he and Mat have together are hilarious. Hopper because he is freakin Hopper, which says everything you ever need to know. Ever!

Saerin and Damer Flinn.

Saering just seems so pragmatic and awesome, I know she's a bit of a bully, but she just seems like this rock, even though she's a supposedly dreamy brown, and I love her for it.

And OMG Damer Flinn.

Also, basically most of the Aiel Chiefs...

One thing I love most about this series is precisely that there are so many memorable characters outside the main cast of heroes. Of course, it also adds heartbreak when they get killed off... Anyway.

Tam al'Thor - one kickass farmer.
Damer Flinn - one kickass grandpa. (Also Corele. They make me "aww" like nobody's business.)
Sebban Balwer - one kickass spymaster/secretary.
Alanna Mosvani - well, no explanation here, but I will be very unimpressed if she turns out to be Black in the end.
That White sister who secretly writes poetry dedicated to her Warder, because, well, how awesome is that?
Silviana the Keeper of the Chronicles & formerly Mistress of Novices
Grady & Neald - I just grew ridiculously attached to them throughout the Perrin arc when they were hanging out with him.
Atal Mishraile - drop dead gorgeous sociopath Asha'man... what's not to like?
Eh... Logain, if he counts; his lack of screen time vs. his supposedly glorious role in things to come...
Adelorna the Captain-General of the Green Ajah also won me over during the battle for Tar Valon.

I'd have to go with Ituralde I forget his first name but I like the few sections he is in. He has pretty much been the best commander on the field other than Mat, I give Perrin no credit as he really doesn't command he is just like hey you guys we're going to go do this want to join us?

There are so many to choose from. If I have to pick just a few (!) I think I'd go with Neald & Grady, Damer Flinn and most definitely Gaidal Cain.

I don't know if that says something about me, thinking about it!

(Yes, I had a big soft spot for Farstrider too.... )

Sulin would be one that not many seem to think of. She is pure awesome in the form of a Maiden.

Flinn is awesome. he saved Rand's life. Plus he is into Healing as much as Nynaeve, but without the unpleasant side-personality.

I am dying to know what Jain's "betrayal" to Malkier was, though. As for the "revelation" moment, I think Mat probably had an inkling before that. So did Thom. But mainly, Mat has become a soldier and a general. You don't linger over something like that in a situation like that. I've always hated it when they do that in movies. It's like, "You guys really don't have time for chit chat, or you're gonna die."

I love Bael and named one of my first World of Warcraft pet after him.

Elyas Machera = Awesome! I loved him setting Perrin straight about Saldaean women.

Sorilea - Awesomest of the Wise Ones.

Well I don't exactly know if she is considered a minor character, but I loved Verin Sedai from the moment she was introduced into the series.

Oh, and Dyelin Taravin; she is just...so awesome.

And I loved all the other characters others have mentioned as well (Bain, Chiad, Uno...etc). Seems to me that I like the minor characters much more than the actual main characters. :\

I agree on Sorilea. I want to add her to my list... and Lini while I'm at it. I always loved that she had a wise saying for just about any occaision. I think I might create a dnd npc character based on her for my current campaign.

Hurin, probably. I really liked him in the second book, especially his loyalty and quiet courage. I particularly enjoyed his conversation with Arthur Hawkwing.

I love the way the daughter of the seven moons.. may she live forever...in pestering Mat.

Masema is just cool you know. One of the first who was fervently devoted to Rand, though he went crazy later. He still made for awesome reading
