I also like Sebban Balwer and Hurin :D

I like Coline, aka Cook, and Basel Gill for some reason:)

oh, and I also like Setalle Anan when she's not falling over the Aes Sedai's every 'request', Like when she stands up to Mat during their time with Valan Luca, or when she takes command of the girls when they go to visit Mat at the inn

Oh, I love Bawler! He's grown a lot as a character, in my mind. I think his respect for Perrin and serving him just for the sake of having someone good to serve is great. I wish he'd tell Perrin why he has such a strong dislike of the Whitecloaks, though. I think it would make their bond stronger.

I have always enjoyed Uno. yeah, he's rough around the edges, perhaps even jagged, but his heart's in the right place. and the contrast between him and some of the more "proper" characters is a lot of fun.

i also really like that guy who gave Rand and Mat a ride along the road to Caemlyn in tEotW. to me, he was a really genuine, kind person. I can't remember if he had a name, though part of me likes to think he's the same guy who Rand runs into in the apple orchard, though there's no recognition.

and i wonder why Balwer hasn't told Perrin about his past employment. considering the situation with the Whitecloaks in ToM, it might have been helpful. perhaps someone will recognize him, since Perrin's army and Galad's Children are marching together to TG.

Melfane.

Elayne has been getting far too haughty in ToM, so it was good to see the no-nonsense midwife laying down the law.

Hopper is good too, I like his pearls of wisdom, very quotable.

Are we considering Tam as a minor character? Because the scene where he calls Cadsuane out for being a bully in tGS is one of my favorites in the series.

I also like Talmanes and Gaul, mainly because of the way their senses of humor mess with Mat and Perrin, respectively.

Gaul ask Perrin:"what are we celebrating", Perrin says breakfast and Gaul starts cracking up...love Gaul wisdom

Noam/ Jain Farstrider.... I'm a little disappointed that didn't get played up more. When that revelation came in the book I suddenly had an intense desire to have a scene with Noam telling Thom all of his other adventures, and adding to his legacy.
It was pretty touching when he asked them to convey that he had finally paid his debt for his betrayal.

Yeah, I love Gaul's sense of humor but I don't like the new Talmanes so much. I liked Melfane because she was real, instead of everyone else who was treating Elayne like an eggshell.

I'm surprised the Jain Farstrider thing wasn't brought up bigger than it was. It actually took me a re-read of that chapter to catch it. But technically,he did tell Thom his stories already, in the caravan with Tuon.

I Really Really like Narishma. I just think that he is going to play some pivotal role in the last battle and it has been fun to watch him develop into Rand's protege (or at least that's how I think of him).

One of the clues to Noal's true identity has been all his tales of wonders he's seen. Always cracked me up how Mat completely dismisses them as wild tales, but anyone paying attention would see that Noal is ridiculously well-traveled.

"Enough ships for what?" Noal said. "I never saw so many in one place before." That was quite a statement, coming from him. To hear Noal tell it, he had seen everything, and nearly always bigger or grander than what was in front of his nose.

Well if he really counts... One of my favorite characters is Tam Al'thor. I love how even though Rand isn't his son and at one time got mistreated by Rand, still is the calm and collected father you just gotta love.
I also love that poor unamed merchant in that town that Mat saw sank into the ground. Lol just kidding!

Oh, no, I mean Mat's realization that he was Jain wasn't really given. Just a "Hey, off to fight the fox folk. Tell the world I got better in the end." "Oh, k, bye!"

After as much as he's a household name in the whole series, you would have thought Mat would give a paragraph to thinking about it. It was a perfect tear-jerker moment that totally got blown.

I also like Tarna for no real reason, and Sebban Balwer. And also for some reason I like Sarene Nemdahl. :cheeseeni:

I like Balwer too, even back with the Children...sneaky little secretary, where does he get all that informationf from...

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one really fond of Gaul. He's been one of my favorite characters since the Shadow Rising.

I also like Pevara a lot, too (as a character I liked her, but the whole black ajah hunting plot line she participated in bored the heck out of me.)

And I also like Narishma a lot cause he's all loyal to Rand and dependable and stuff. He's pretty much to Rand what Gaul is to Perrin, so it makes sense that I like both of them.

And I'm probably the only one who does, but I really liked Aram. Something about a Tinker that wields a sword seems really cool to me.

I also really like, but to a somewhat lesser degree, Corele, Bael, Melaine, Davram Bashere, Eben Hopwil, Logain, and Asmodean.

You had me confused for a second until I realized who you were actually talking about, there. Noam is the guy Perrin meets who turns into a wolf and becomes Boundless. NoaL is Jain Farstrider.

Tam is awesome, especially him telling Cadsuane off like that. And Gaul cracks me up. I like how Perrin and Mat both have their sidekicks -- it really helps their humor come across. :D

I like Pevara too, as a character. But, I actually found the Black Ajah hunt to be one of the, by far, most interesting plot lines in the last half of the books :pleased-1:

I thought the Black Ajah hunt was amazing too, I wish we had seen the show down between the Black Ajah Council and Searin and co. I also really like Janya, Sitter for the Brown who was not one of the Too Young Sitters but who went to Salidar of her own choice and was really liberal in her voting, refreshing for one of the older Aes Sedai.
