Mother, your stock has skyrocketed in my books. :) I alternate reading the WoT series and then listening to the whole thing on Audiobook(Micheal Kramer and Kate Reading are awesome) I also listen to the whole Dark Tower about once a year. Glad to see I'm not the only one who rereads stuff...

I would have liked to have seen more of Cadsuane as "the cleaner" of the Tower. She would have been outstanding in that capacity.

I had this thought. At many times, Mat inadvertently speaks in the Old Tongue, not knowing what he is saying or even that he is saying it. I envision a point where he meets the Mahdi and the memories in his head spout out the requested song with no overt recollection of where it came from.

Fully agree. The amount of pure table setting and overbearing setup in the first book gave little indication how good the rest of the series would grow to be.
