Hiring: Tar Valon Times Staff

The Tar Valon Times is currently hiring new content creators!

We’re looking for people interested in producing content about TarValon.Net, The Wheel of Time (the books, the upcoming television series, the graphic novels, etc.), or the fantasy genre more generally. We’re looking for both writing and artwork, which can include (but is certainly not limited to):

• Wheel of Time character spotlights
• Other Wheel of Time spotlights (cities, nations, Old Tongue words, history facts, random things you think are interesting, you name it)
• Wheel of Time "best of" lists
• Connections or differences between The Wheel of Time and our own world
• TarValon.Net member interviews and features
• TarValon.Net events
• Pieces on charity work and community service
• Wheel of Time or TarValon.Net-themed comic strips
• Wheel of Time memes
• Wheel of Time or fantasy-themed craft-work (e.g., knitting patterns, costume creation, etc.)
• Wheel of Time or fantasy-themed food
• Fantasy book reviews

This is a non-rotating staff position in the Department of Marketing, with eligibility for the Reporter Merit.


Qualifications

• Members of any rank can apply
• Experience with writing and/or art is a bonus but certainly not necessary

• Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis
