Unanswered Questions you'd personally like answered in #14

Throughout the series, Robert Jordan left little puzzles and unanswered questions. You may be wondering about one of Min's viewings, how exactly Asmodean was killed, or perhaps where those darkhounds were going when they circled around Perrin's camp in the night.

I thought it would be interesting to see what questions interest you which you'd like answered in the last book.

Please include which book your question pertains to.

Also, would you be ok with it if your burning question about the series was just left unanswered and forever remained a mystery?

I would like to know the full story about Luc/Isam, but that's probably never going to happen.
Full Lanfear story would also be very interesting.
Min's viewings were to many to remember them all, I just hope that those related to protagonists will be explained in detail.

Sheer curiousity sake, whatever happened with Talaan? Doubt it will get answered.

I know I have other questions, but cant think of them right now. Most questions though I don't really care if we get answers. I think it is fun to speculate, hypothesize, and debate. I am sure I wouldn't be here if I didn't. :D I think it leaves more to the imagination and makes rereads more fun. Why reread if you know everything there is to know?

Sor Sedai, I'd totally love it if the Sea Folk shared a weave that healed burn out, just as the Aiel shared "Caressing the Child".

^ This, yes. I'd like to see if she's who she's rumoured to be.

Also, I want to know more about Nakomi. Though that's probably part of the mystery that should and will always be so.

Definitely want to see exactly what the deal with Setalle Anan is, and have her Healed. Also want to find out exactly what the deal with Nakomi is.

Also, what happened with Urien, the first Aiel we met? Will there be anything from the Isle of Madmen, Shara, and Seanchan? ... or have they already served whatever usefulness they had? Does Justice have any true role in the last battle? Who is Gaidal Cain, and does it matter? Who is going to be tied to the Horn by the end of the Last Battle? What does the Book of Translation actually do? Is T'A'R going to be a part of the Last Battle? Who is the mysterious murderer ruling in Seanchan? Who were the red-veiled assassins that attacked Mat outside of Caemlyn? How many pieces will Olver be chopped into when he bum-rushes Caemlyn trying to save it all by himself? So many questions.

Edit: Oh, and Corwyn, Brandon actually strongly hinted that the story behind Luc/Isam = Slayer will be explained at least in part in AMoL.

I sure hope that ^this^ is true! Also I'm with all of you about Mistress Anan. I've also always wanted to know what exactly all of Cadsuane's hair ornaments do. I don't remember if this is addressed in the later books as I'm doing a re-read right now, but I've always wondered...

We find out what a few of them do. One or two are wells. One can tell the direction of a man channeling. One seems to have properties similar to Mat's foxhead medallion. Don't know if we find out any others.

Absolutely the deal with Luc and Isam.

Min's viewings can be found in the library, btw.

Luc and Isam is definitely something I want explained. Also, just because I spent years squirming about it but being sure it was Graendal, I'd love a concrete mention about her killing Asmodean in the final book (even though Shaidar Haran's comment basically confirmed that theory). It would give me closure. Also, this probably will be covered, but I want Rand and Galad to actually discover their relation and see how that plays out. Well, acknowledge really, since I'm sure Rand has finally put two and two together, but yeah, that would be nice.

Why on earth did Alanna bond Rand? I mean I know what she was thinking, but why did Jordan have her do it. It seems it must be for more than having her tag along as a 5th wheel and be a convenient way of locating him when necessary.

Agreed. Alanna's place in the story has always been really puzzling to me, and I'd really like to see her serve some sort of narrative purpose.

Yea Alanna has always confused me too. I would also really like to know more about Olver and his part in everything.

Olver and Alana didn't really interest me that much. I thought both of those characters served their purposes fairly well.

I didn't want to post a laundry list of my unanswered questions because I was interested in hearing more about what you guys would ask.

Here's a couple of mine. I'll add more later.

1) Moiraine asked 3 questions of the Ael'Fin (snake people) while in Tear. What were her questions?

2) Callandor is noted as the 3rd most powerful sa'angreal for a man. The Chodan Kal was the first. So, what is the 2nd most powerful sa'angreal for a man? and does Ishamael currently have it?

3) Callandor is noted as being flawed in that the user can draw more of the one power than is safe for him to wield. (Most angreals & sa'angreals protect the user by not allowing the person to draw too much). I don't think Callandor is flawed. It was made that way on purpose. Why?

4) Graendal was obviously sent to Shara soon after being released from the Chosen's prison at Shayul Ghul. What was her mission there? (aside from kidnapping their channelling leaders)
