Yeah I heard someone say that in order to enjoy it we have to go in not thinking of it as The Wheel of Time but thinking of it as kind of something completely new. That way we won't get too disappointed if things don't work out how we pictured them in the books. But I am very excited that it's...
I did the same thing. I read the first book and then at the end realize there was a glossary. I did kind of attempts to retrain myself but it's too hard LOL it interrupts my flow of reading. I read very quickly where it's like a movie in my head and if I have to stop and correct myself it's like...
It's amazing how often I've been able to lose myself inside of books. It truly is unbelievable. I wish that I could meet Jordan in person and thank him for everything he's done for me through these books.
I'm trying to get my boyfriend to read the books but he only wants to do the audio books. I don't think I could do it that way because i already have opinions about how they sound.

I was, I believe, 11 years old when I read the first book. And I just remember that every spare waking moment of every day, (and some NOT spare moments ;) I was face deep in that book. I feel like I lived the most traumatizing part of my childhood inside of this series. It was an escape for me...
I would definitely want to be a Wise One DreamWalker. Or a DreamWalker Aes Sedai who trains with the Wise Ones. I love the Aiel so much but i would definitely want to be able to wield the One Power and walk Tel'aran'rhiod.
Aviendha is a very close tie with Moiraine and Mat. I have always felt like I could relate to Aviendha's personality and the Aiel culture is fascinating. I wish I could train with the Wise Ones!
