Nine Valleys Aiel Tea

Ingredients:
2 cinnamon sticks
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
6 whole green cardamom pods
6 whole cloves
dash garam masala
1 (1-inch) piece ginger root, peeled and thinly sliced
4 whole black peppercorns
1 vanilla bean
3 table spoons loose Darjeeling tea
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
4 cups water
1 cup low-fat milk

Method:
This is the perfect tea to have your gai‘shain prepare for clan chiefs at the next hold meeting. In a pot full of water, boil cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, cardamom pods, cloves, garam masala, ginger root, peppercorns, and vanilla bean for about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and add in the black tea, letting it steep for another five minutes. Strain through a mesh sieve to separate the solids from your tea. Return your tea back into your pot. Stir in brown sugar and milk and heat over low heat for about two minutes. Pour into cups and serve. Even someone with the taste of a wetlander will appreciate this! Best shared with others! May you always find water and shade.
